1. Creating a profile
By creating a Matchbox candidate profile, a candidate asks Matchbox to organise the information provided, maintain the profile and use it to support healthcare recruitment services and candidate communication.
2. Matching and communication
The candidate may choose to receive information about potentially relevant roles, profile-completion steps, recruitment progress and future country-readiness pathways. Promotional communication should be separated from essential recruitment updates where required.
3. Employer sharing
Matchbox should present a clear choice before sharing identifiable candidate information with a prospective employer or authorised recruitment partner. The purpose, role or employer context should be understandable to the candidate wherever reasonably possible.
4. Documents
Uploaded documents may be reviewed for profile completeness, eligibility, verification or an active recruitment step. Matchbox should not use an uploaded document for an unrelated purpose without a suitable legal basis or additional consent.
5. Assessments and screening
If Matchbox introduces skills, language, behavioural or psychometric assessments, candidates should receive an explanation of the assessment purpose, how the result will be used and any material limitations before participation.
6. Future international interest
Recording a preferred country does not mean a pathway or vacancy is active. Additional destination-specific consent may be required before information is shared outside India or with a regulator, verification provider or overseas employer.
7. Withdrawing consent
A candidate should be able to withdraw optional consent for future processing or communication. Withdrawal does not invalidate processing already completed lawfully, and limited information may still be retained where necessary for legal, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes.
8. Candidate confirmation
The final registration flow should include unticked choices and a clear record of when each consent was given, changed or withdrawn. Consent should not be bundled with claims that selection or placement is guaranteed.
