Internship solutions for colleges and technical institutes

Start with your academic requirements. Shape the next step around your batch.
  • Colleges and technical or vocational education institutes can enquire about suitable internships for eligible students, including nursing, allied-health, laboratory, biomedical, IT and other relevant programmes.
  • Start with your course requirements, intended dates, batch size, required practical exposure and preferred locations.
  • Matchbox discusses relevant hospital, healthcare and technical-role opportunities against the programme and available employer capacity.
  • A city or employer preference does not confirm availability.
  • Programme requirements, student eligibility, supervision, host capacity, documentation and dates must be confirmed before an internship proceeds.
One point of coordination

One coordinated enquiry for your batch

  • Your designated college representative can bring the academic and practical requirements into one conversation.
  • Matchbox's process covers mapping the programme requirement, discussing suitable host options and coordinating institution, employer and joining information.
  • The initial enquiry can begin before every detail is settled.
  • Share what is known, and identify the dates, headcount or location preferences that are still being considered.
Beyond course completion

Placement solutions for graduating students

  • Colleges can also enquire about placement support as students move into professional life.
  • Explain whether the enquiry concerns course-mandated internships, recruitment for graduates or both.
  • Each has a different purpose, and an internship enquiry should not be treated as an employment offer.
  • Graduates seeking individual roles can review Current Jobs, build or update their CV and create a candidate profile for suitable opportunities.
  • Selection remains with the employer, and profile registration does not guarantee employment.

02 · A clear way forward

How the college partnership process works

College → Workplace
  1. Enquire

Share the college, coordinator, course and type of support needed. Add the approximate batch size and dates if available.

  2. Map the requirement

Clarify the internship duration, required practical exposure, preferred locations and institution documentation requirements.

  3. Review available options

Discuss relevant host organisations against programme needs, student eligibility and availability.

  4. Coordinate confirmed next steps

Support institution and employer communication, required student lists and joining documentation once the relevant requirements are established.

  • An enquiry does not guarantee internship allotment, a particular hospital or location, or employment after the internship.

03 · Come prepared

Frequently asked questions

Which student batches are covered by the internship service?

Nursing, allied-health, technical and vocational education institutes can enquire. Share the programme, practical learning requirements and student stage. Matchbox confirms whether suitable host opportunities, supervision and eligibility requirements can be aligned; participation is open across these disciplines.

Can we enquire before the batch size or dates are final?

Yes. Batch size, dates and preferred cities can be shared when available. Begin with the college, coordinator, course and enquiry type, and explain what is still being planned.

Are a preferred hospital, city or internship dates guaranteed?

No. Availability, eligibility, documentation, location and dates must be confirmed before placement. Submitting an enquiry does not reserve or guarantee an allotment.

Can the same enquiry cover graduate placement support?

Yes. The college contact route accepts internship or placement-support enquiries. State which support you need so it can be discussed separately from the academic internship requirement.

Should we upload student documents with the initial enquiry?

No. Use batch totals only in the initial college enquiry. Do not include student names, documents or health information. Any later information requirements should be clarified for the relevant stage.
